Audrey’s yoga classes focus on the play within the sacredness. As a once, “take herself seriously” person, yoga facilitated her transformation from intense + serious to expressive + playful. Audrey infuses the relevance of daily life to the practice of yoga. Learning from Richard Rosen that “play is accessible to everyone”, she holds a playful space with freedom to explore + discover your own truth. Passionate about inspiring the “aha’s” of the body, mind + spirit, Audrey leads supportive, intelligently sequenced, alignment filled + heart opening, eclectic flow classes. She believes yoga cultivates compassionate, deep self-inquiry and the ability to look at life through a different lens ~ connecting us all through love. Yoga has created radical gratefulness in her life that sharing it with the world is her true north. Audrey feels she receives so much more from her students than she ever gives.
Audrey’s greatest passion is connecting + building community as a conscious activist. As a Luna Bar Ambassador and Off The Mat Into the World local leader, Audrey leads workshops + events connecting community and encouraging yogis to take their yoga off their mats to be of service. She is the co-founder of One Love Encinitas, uniting local yoga teachers to create change locally + globally. www.oneloveencinitas.org
Audrey fell in love with yoga when she took her first yoga class in 1990 and became a certified yoga teacher in 2002. Grateful to her many teachers, Audrey completed her first yoga certification through the Nosara Yoga Institute and credits Don and Amba Stapleton for learning to teach yoga poetically + experientially. She is inspired by Seane Corn for her devotion to service; Elena Brower for holding a space to deeply heal through yoga and; Tim Miller (Timji) for his wisdom and dedication to his students.
Audrey leads teacher trainings and workshops on yoga + energetic healing and is sought after by yoga teachers to grow in their own practice. Her studies throughout the years in yoga, massage, nutrition, herbs + other bodywork modalities provide yoginis nurturing + healing. Audrey leads trainings in Costa Rica and has her private practice in Encinitas where she lives with her husband, two children and her dog.
